Adelaide Festival 1 - 17 March 2013

Kronos Quartet and JG Thirlwell’s Manorexia with special guest Bryce Dessner (The National)

Featuring Zephyr Quartet
Exclusive to Adelaide

United States / Australia

"They've worked with David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails and Nelly Furtado, and had their music featured in movies such as Requiem for a Dream... Kronos are no ordinary string quartet."

The List

In an evening of beautiful surprises, eccentric international festival favourites Kronos Quartet are joined on stage by indie rock superstar Bryce Dessner of The National – and New Yorker JG Thirlwell’s Manorexia outfit who flesh out their experimental sounds with local luminaries Zephyr Quartet.

This is Kronos Quartet at its best - blending a spirit of fearless exploration with a commitment to expanding the range and context of the traditional string quartet.

Don't miss Laurie Anderson and Kronos Quartet.
