Visual ArtsAdelaide Festival has a long and established history of presenting some of the world’s most significant contemporary visual artists.
Visual artists who have featured in past festival programs include Anselm Kiefer, Anthony Caro, Barbara Kruger, Francesco Clemente, Georg Baselitz, Hans Peter Kuhn, Jenny Holzer, Joseph Beuys, Joseph Kosuth, Montien Boonma, Francis Alÿs, Lucy + Jorge Orta, Anri Sala, Candice Breitz, Tara Donovan, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, AES+F, NS Harsha, Teresa Margolles, Saskia Olde Wolbers, Andy Goldsworthy and Nancy Spero.
Partner galleries include the Anne and Gordon Samstag Museum of Art, Art Gallery of South Australia, Australian Experimental Art Foundation, Contemporary Art Centre of South Australia and Flinders University City Gallery and Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute.
The 2014 Adelaide Festival will feature ambitious visual arts projects to be announced in October 2013.
